January 26 (Zeeshan) - The spirit of India echoed in Athens as the Indian Embassy hosted a vibrant celebration to mark the 77th Republic Day. The event was led by Ambassador Rudrendra Tandon, bringing together members of the Indian community, friends of India, and embassy officials in a joyous display of patriotism.
The celebrations began with the unfurling of the National Flag by Ambassador Tandon, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The Ambassador then read out the address of the Hon'ble President of India to the nation, highlighting India's journey and its growing global stature. The event was also graced by the presence of First Secretary (Commerce & Culture), Mr. Birender Singh Rawat, along with other embassy staff.

The group, including Mubarak Ahmed Warraich, Harbanslal Sehgal, Satnam Singh, Izhaan Warraich, Happy Qadian, Gajan Singh, and Mashood Ahmed Warraich, joined their fellow countrymen in commemorating this historic day.
