Principal of the college, Mrs. Kiranjeet Ball, warmly welcomed Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on his arrival. Addressing the students, CM Mann particularly appreciated the achievements of girl students, observing that girls are excelling and making their mark across every field. He encouraged the students to remain focused on their goals, work with dedication and continue striving for excellence in their respective fields. He also urged them to make the most of the opportunities available to them through education and remain committed to building a bright future.
The Chief Minister also apprised the students of various initiatives being undertaken by the Punjab Government in the education sector and the steps being taken to improve facilities and infrastructure for students. He emphasised the importance of providing students with a conducive environment for academic as well as extracurricular activities.
Taking note of the college's requirements and its active academic and cultural environment, CM Mann assured the college authorities and students that necessary arrangements would be made for an auditorium at the institution. He also assured that bus service would be provided for the convenience of students, aimed at improving their transportation facilities.
The students gave a warm welcome to the Chief Minister during his surprise visit and expressed their happiness at getting an opportunity to interact with him in their college.
