Qadian, 16 June (Zeeshan) - Advocate Jagroop Singh Sekhwan, the esteemed Chairman of the District Planning Board, Gurdaspur, and the incharge of Qadian Assembly Constituency, has been accorded a distinguished honor by the AAP State High Command. Recognizing his outstanding contributions to the party, he has been appointed as the State General Secretary of Punjab.
As he made his visit to Qadian, party members and officials fervently greeted him at various locations. The local supporters of Sekhwan and the residents of Qadian extended a warm welcome to Sekhwan, presenting him with floral garlands to mark the occasion.
Subsequently, Jagroop Singh Sekhwan arrived at Dana Mandi in Qadian, where he addressed a gathering of dedicated party workers from different villages within the Qadian Assembly constituency, as well as those from Dhariwal, Batala, and Kahnuwan.
Expressing his sincere gratitude, he acknowledged their presence and extended his heartfelt appreciation to the party's high command, including Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Maan, as well as the entire leadership. He reassured everyone that the trust bestowed upon him by the party would never be broken. Furthermore, he pledged to fortify the party's foundation by strengthening the party's path to victory in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections, mirroring the success achieved in Jalandhar.
