SHO Qadian Urges Citizens to Deposit Licensed Weapons Ahead of Lok Sabha Elections

Qadian, 07 March (Zeeshan) - In anticipation of the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Qadian Police Station has issued a vital advisory to the residents of the area. Acting upon directives from the Election Commission and under the leadership of SSP Batala Ashwini Gotiyal, DSP Rajesh Kakkar,  SHO Balwinder Singh of the Qadian Police Station has urged all licensed firearm holders within its jurisdiction to promptly deposit their weapons.

SHO Balwinder Singh emphasized the critical importance of adhering to Election Commission regulations throughout the electoral process. In line with these mandates, he urged all licensed firearm owners residing in Qadian and its adjacent areas to promptly deposit their weapons at either the nearest gun house or the Qadian Police Station. Upon depositing their weapons, individuals will receive a receipt as proof of compliance.

Notably, failure to adhere to these directives carries legal ramifications. The Qadian Police Station has emphasized that appropriate legal action will be taken against those who do not comply with the order. This stern stance reflects the commitment of law enforcement authorities to ensure the smooth conduct of the upcoming elections while upholding public safety and security.
