Qadian, 20 January (Zeeshan) - Jagroop Singh Sekhwan has assumed the position of Chairman of the District Planning Committee in Gurdaspur. On the occasion of his assumption of office, Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, Cabinet Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak, Batala MLA Amansher Singh Sheri Kalsi, Chairman Raman Bahl, Chairman Balbir Singh Pannu, Gurdeep Singh Randhawa, Mr. Sekhwan's mother, Amarjit Kaur Sekhwan, his wife, Baharpreet Kaur, and other family members and office bearers were in attendance.
Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, Cabinet Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak, MLA Amansher Singh Sherry Kalsi, and Chairman Raman Bahl and Balbir Singh Pannu all congratulated Mr. Sekhwan on his assumption of the position of Chairman of the District Planning Committee in Gurdaspur.
On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal stated that the party's high command had made a wise decision in appointing Mr. Sekhwan, a capable and dedicated young leader, to this prestigious post. He added that, due to his talent and ability, Mr. Sekhwan will be able to serve the public in a more effective manner through this position.
Similarly, Cabinet Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak congratulated Chairman Sekhwan on his assumption of office and noted that, as Chairman of the District Planning Committee, he will make significant contributions to the development of the border district of Gurdaspur. He also commented that Mr. Sekhwan's inherited legacy of public service and his abilities will be put to use for the benefit of the people of the district through the District Planning Committee.
Upon assuming office, Chairman Jagroop Singh Sekhwan expressed his gratitude to Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, and the entire party high command. He stated that he will undertake this responsibility with full sincerity and diligence and that his priority will be to work towards the betterment of the people and to make his district a leader in terms of development. He also thanked the present Ministers, MLAs, Chairman, and other party workers for attending the inauguration ceremony.
