Labor Department organizes camps related to welfare schemes, documents of 50 workers filled on the third day

Qadian 18 May (Zeeshan) : A camp was organized by the Labor Department in the office of the Bharat Vikas Parishad for the welfare of the workers and their family members under the welfare schemes of the Punjab Building Construction Workers Welfare Board.  

In this camp, Labor Enforcement Officer Navdeep Singh said that as per the guidelines of Principal Secretary Sumer Singh Gurjar, a campaign has been started to make more and more workers register online by filling the form on the spot.  He told that the forms of 65 laborers were filled on the first day in this camp which was going on for the last 3 days. 

And today on the third day the files of 50 laborers have been completed, which will be registered online on Thursday.

Giving information in this regard, Mukesh Verma, President of  BVP said that The third day camp was organized from 11 am to 4 pm.  During this camp, a special team of Akwant Kaur, Technical Operator Meenu Kumari, Jagdeep Singh and Amrik Singh arrived. 

Giving information on the occasion, president Mukesh Verma, Organizing Secretary Dr. Bikramjit Singh Bajwa, General Secretary Jasbir Singh Samra told that this is the third day of the ongoing work under the supervision of Labor Enforcement Officer Navdeep Singh.  

Forms of some new people have also been filled in the camp.  They told that the papers of the remaining workers would be filled in the Bharat Vikas Parishad office on Thursday itself. They also told that those who are registered laborers are provided special facilities by the government. The workers whose cards have not been registered, they should get their names registered so that in future the facilities provided by the government like scholarship scheme for children, LTC scheme, insurance scheme, fixed deposit for the new born girl child to be given. 

Verma informed that through this process, labor cards will be issued to the workers soon, which will make their safety and their families reliable.  Sanjit Pal Singh Sandhu, Service Chief Ashawni Kumar, Jagdish Singh, Vice President Vishwa Gaurav, Ashok Nayar, Sumit Sahdev, Ashwini Verma, etc. were present.
