Pratap Bajwa won Qadian Vidhan Sabha seat by a margin of 7174 votes

Qadian, March 10 (Zeeshan) - Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha member Pratap Singh Bajwa has won the Qadian Vidhan Sabha seat by a margin of 7174 votes over Akali Dal (Badal) candidate Guriqbal Singh Mahal. 

Pratap Singh Bajwa got 48679 votes out of 133183 poll votes while his opponent Akali Dal (Badal) candidate Guriqbal Singh Mahal got 41505 votes. While coming at third Aam Aadmi Party's candidate Jagroop Singh Sekhwan got 34916 votes. 

National Justice Party candidate Hardeep Singh got 420 votes, Jatinderbir Singh Pannu Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar Simranjit Singh Mann) got 4306 votes, Master Johar Singh Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt) 747 votes, Dr. Farooq Masih People's Party of India (Democratic) 141 votes, Amar Pratap Singh independent candidate 202. Votes, Jaspal Singh independent candidate got 588 votes, Prem Singh independent candidate got 182 votes, Mohneet Singh independent candidate got 401 votes, Rajwinder Singh independent candidate got 319 votes. 777 NOTA votes were used. 

On the other hand Pratap Singh Bajwa has thanked the voters of Qadian Constituency.
